There are several different quilting classes, project classes, embroidery groups, etc etc etc. They publish their own calendar that is chock full of different events for their members including some field trips they take to sewing conferences and classes. That machine can take off like a rabbit! I’m so surprised with a direct hit like that that the tree didn’t splinter apart! A ‘real’ tree usually explodes when hit by lightning but a palm tree really belongs to the grass family so that must make the difference. Lightning hit the palm tree located between Sites 9 and 10. Lots of folks were gathering there to see the damage.

Palm Creek is launching into the electronic age by posting newsletters and information on its website! The Palm Creek website is being updated and modernized to make it an informative, active, location for getting the latest and greatest news about all of the events, sports, and activities that occur at our resort. We’ll no longer have to wait until the first of each month to get the current activities schedule as it will be posted live on the internet and will be updated and accessible at all times.
